The ifa Excellence Awards recognise financial advisers and advice businesses across Australia. The Innovator of the Year (Individual) category recognises the adviser who has best developed and applied innovation in their practice, whether in advice delivery, client engagement, portfolio construction, service or technology.
The nomination recognises the practice platform George designed and built for Panorama Wealth: one system that holds client records, runs portfolio reviews, produces advice documents, reconciles revenue and files compliance records, shaped around how an advice practice actually runs. A routine annual review that once took most of an hour across several systems now takes under a minute.
The time this gives back goes to clients. Portfolio adjustments no longer wait for the formal review date: when a fund is downgraded or a client's circumstances change, the advice can be prepared and acted on the same week. Forms arrive pre-filled, every call and email is on the record, and the practice can keep its client numbers well below the industry average while still answering the phone.
It is also pleasing to see a Canberra adviser recognised in a national category alongside advisers from much larger firms. Winners will be announced at the awards gala in Sydney on 3 December 2026.
